On October 14, 2025, Sang Yup Lee, an internationally renowned biotechnology expert and Vice President for Research at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), was invited to deliver an academic lecture at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University titled “Systems Metabolic Engineering for Sustainable Biomanufacturing.”

Hua Qiang, General Manager of Xi’an Green Spring, participated in the event and engaged in in-depth discussions with Academician Sang Yup Lee. This event injected new insights and momentum into the company’s development of natural plant-based active ingredients and biomanufacturing.

He is also a member of several prestigious international academic institutions, including the American Academy of Microbiology, the American Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, the World Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Inventors, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology.

His team has achieved a series of breakthroughs in systems metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, and sustainable biomanufacturing. These findings have significant guiding significance for advancing the global biomanufacturing industry towards efficient, green, and sustainable development.
