The leaves from the stevia plant are used to create an extract that is 200-350 times sweeter than sugar. Due to its sweetness level, stevia extract is often processed with other plant-based ingredients to create zero-calorie sweetener blends that measure more like sugar.
The main active ingredient of Stevia Extract is steviol glycosides, including steviol glycoside A, steviol glycoside B, steviol glycoside C, etc. These compounds provide sweetness in the mouth, but with a higher sweetness intensity than traditional sucrose and other synthetic sweeteners, requiring only a small amount to achieve the same sweetness.
In addition, Sweet Leaf Extract is relatively stable and resistant to high temperatures, making it suitable for use in cooking and baking. It has a long shelf life compared to other sweeteners. This makes it a common substitute in the food manufacturing industry, where it is widely used in the creation of pastries, beverages, ice cream, chewing gum, and other products.
Steviol glycosides are naturally occurring intense, zero-calorie sweeteners found in the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant and used in many products, including those marketed as stevia. They are diterpene glycosides, with stevioside and rebaudioside A being prominent examples that are 100-400 times sweeter than sugar and do not raise blood sugar levels. They are approved as food additives in many countries and can be produced by extraction, enzymatic bioconversion, or fermentation to improve taste and purity for use as a sugar alternative.
Steviol glycosides do not provide calories and do not impact blood sugar levels, making them suitable for managing sugar intake.
Steviol glycosides are approved as food additives in regions including Europe, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand, where they are often labeled as a sweetener with the E-number 960.
Stevia sweeteners are no-calorie sweeteners that can be used to lower one’s intake of added sugars while still providing satisfaction from enjoying the taste of something sweet. While some types of sweeteners in this category are considered low-calorie (e.g., aspartame) and others are no-calorie (e.g., stevia sweeteners, monk fruit sweeteners and sucralose), collectively they are often referred to as sugar substitutes, high-intensity sweeteners, non-nutritive sweeteners or low-calorie sweeteners.
Like other no-calorie sweeteners, stevia sweeteners are intensely sweet. Stevia sweeteners range from being 200-350 times sweeter than sugar, and as such only small amounts of stevia sweeteners are needed to match the sweetness provided by sugar. Stevia sweeteners can be used by food and beverage manufacturers as an ingredient in beverages (such as diet sodas, light or low-sugar juices and flavored waters), canned fruits, condiments, dairy products (such as ice cream, flavored milk and yogurt) and other foods (such as baked goods, cereals, chocolate and other confections) and syrups. Because they are stable at high temperatures, stevia sweeteners can be used in baked goods. However, a recipe that uses stevia sweeteners in place of sugar may turn out slightly different because, in addition to sweetness, sugar plays several roles related to volume and texture in recipes but varies based on the type of recipe.
Stevia sweeteners are derived from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana (Bertoni) plant, an herbal shrub native to South America. The stevia plant has been used for food and medicinal purposes for hundreds of years, and its leaves and crude extracts have been sold as a dietary supplement. Stevia sweeteners are made by extracting steviol glycosides from the leaves of the stevia plant and purifying them to remove some of the bitter attributes found in the crude extract. Steviol glycosides all have a common basic backbone called steviol. They include compounds like stevioside and many different forms of rebaudiosides, the most common of which is rebaudioside A (or reb A).Some steviol glycosides are also made through processes called bioconversion and fermentation, which allow better tasting and less bitter rebaudiosides, such as reb M, to be produced on a larger scale.

Stevia Leaves Extract Powder can be added to dairy products like yogurt, ice cream, and smoothies, providing a natural sweetness while reducing the overall sugar content of the product. This makes it ideal for creating healthier, lower-sugar dairy treats.
Stevia Leaves Extract Powder is often included in functional foods, nutritional supplements, and health products as a natural sweetener. Its zero-calorie and plant-based origin make it a popular choice for products aimed at health-conscious consumers.
In condiments and sauces, Stevia Leaves Extract Powder can effectively replace sugar, enhancing flavor without adding extra calories. It’s ideal for developing healthier options for those looking to reduce their sugar intake.
The series of product is manufactured by mixing a variety of Stevia Extract Powder as raw materials. The product can be customized according to customer requirements, and the proportion of stevia glycosides can be adjusted, so as to meet the application in more food fields; moreover, the product is mainly made of the raw materials of a variety of natural stevia glycosides extracted from stevia leaves in a scientific proportion, with the sweetness about 200-300 times higher than sucrose, and the calories only about 1/125 of sucrose. It will not be absorbed to produce calories after ingestion, so it is a suitable sweetener for diabetes and obesity patients.
Easily soluble in water, its solubility is greatly improved compared with other stevia glycoside monomers, and its acid, base and heat characteristics are stable; compared with RebA, the post-bitter taste is significantly improved. The product features pure sweet taste, full and clean, and short residual taste, without obvious sour, mint, metal and other bad aftertaste. In addition, it can also be compounded with a variety of sweeteners according to demands to obtain better characters and flavors.

Our Stevia Leaf Extract Powder is a premium, zero-calorie sweetener derived from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni-a natural herb native to Paraguay, valued for its intense sweetness without added sugars. Sourced from organic-certified farms in Brazil (optimal climate for stevia cultivation), our extract is processed under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and meets strict standards from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), USP (United States Pharmacopeia), and EU (Regulation 1334/2008), ensuring unmatched purity and consistent sweetness.
At the heart of our product is Rebaudioside A (Reb A) – 95%–99% HPLC-verified-the key bioactive compound responsible for stevia’s sweetness (300x sweeter than sugar) with no bitter aftertaste, unlike lower-grade stevia extracts. We use a gentle water-based extraction process (no harsh solvents like hexane) to preserve Reb A’s integrity, ensuring compliance with clean-label trends and global regulatory requirements.
Ideal for bulk buyers (beverage manufacturers, food producers, supplement brands, and cosmetic formulators), we offer flexible quantities (1kg to 500kg+), custom Reb A concentrations (90%–99%), and full batch traceability via QR codes. Every order includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with third-party lab results for Reb A content, heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contaminants-guaranteeing safety and compliance for your end products.
